We, at George A. Whiting Paper Company believe that we have found our "niche" in the papermaking industry. Our "condition or position especially suited" is our ability to manufacture special color, special finish or special basis weight paper in small quantities. With our low minimum of 2000#, we are often the solution to a merchant or printer's problem. We are able to do this with a single beater fill for our small paper machine with a trim of 68" to 74".

Our ability to manufacture paper in basis weights ranging from 25*38 50/500 to 20*26 110/500 gives a wide range of options for any printer or converter.

George A. Whiting Paper Company has eight (8) on machine patters including 7/8" Chain Laid, Brockway Felt, Diamond Felt, 10 Mesh, 14 Mesh, Antique, Vellum and Smooth) as well as eleven (11) off machine embossing patterns including Leather, Krystalite, Light and Heavy Linen, Handmade, Cross Rib Lineal, Felt, Crestbark, Raw Silk, Crash and Ripple. All paper manufactured is 100% recycled with 15% post-consumer waste unless otherwise specified. We are an alkaline mill, with neutral pH of 7.2 to 7.6.
